In 2001 John Varvatos began a wildly successful collaboration with Converse which gave rise to reinterpreted versions of the classic Chuck Taylor All Star and Jack Purcell sneakers. In 2004 John created the infamous "John Varvatos Laceless Chuck Taylor".
