Swisher is a professional baseball outfielder first baseman who recently joined the Cleveland Indians in December. Swisher was a member of the 2009 World Series winning Yankees team and was named an All-Star in 2010.
I knew I wanted to play baseball at 6 years old. My dad was managing the Waterloo Indians in Waterloo, Iowa. I spent the summer there with him and realized then that I wanted to play.
Success to me, is giving everything you have during the time you are on the field and going home and putting your head on the pillow completely satisfied.
