Terms & Conditions
1. The $3000 coupon code (“Coupon Code”) prize draw ("Prize Draw") is open to residents of the United States aged 18 and over. Entrants under 18 should obtain permission in advance from their parent or guardian.
2. Employees of John Varvatos, its group companies or their family members, or anyone else connected with the Prize Draw may not enter the Prize Draw.
3. Entrants into the Prize Draw shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
4. To enter the Prize Draw you must click the link in the email that you receive about the Prize Draw, enter your number and date of birth.
5. If you have any questions about how to enter or in connection with the Prize Draw, please email us at customercare@johnvarvatos.com with “$3000 Code Prize Draw” in the subject line.
6. One entry per person per prize draw. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. The Prize Draw is void where prohibited by law.
7. John Varvatos accepts no responsibility for entries that are delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason or for notifications of wins which are not noticed (including due to them being directed to spam folders). By entering this Prize Draw, you warrant that all information provided by you is correct and not obscene or offensive or otherwise in breach of a third party’s rights.
8. No purchase, payment, or donation of any kind is necessary to enter or win this Prize Draw. A purchase, payment, or donation will not increase or improve your chances of winning.
9. The Prize Draw will open on 1 November 2024 at 9am EST and close on 30 November 2024 2024 at 11:59pm EST. Entries received outside this time period will not be considered.
10. One winner will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The draw will be performed by a random computer process on or after 2 December 2024 at 10am EST. Odds of winning will be determined by the number of eligible entries received.
11. The winner will receive a Coupon Code with the value of $3000 to shop on the John Varvatos website (www.johnvarvatos.com) only.
12. The winner will be notified by email on 3 December 2024 and will have two weeks to respond and you will then be sent the coupon code.
13. In the event that a winner:
a. does not respond or provide the requested information within the timeframes set out above;
b. rejects their prize; or
c. has their entry found to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions or is otherwise declared invalid by John Varvatos, acting in its absolute discretion,
John Varvatos reserves the right to forfeit the prize and select an alternative winner in accordance with the process described above or otherwise withdraw the prize. Any alternative winners will also be bound by the timeframes set out in paragraph 12 above.
14. John Varvatos will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner and that winner may be asked to confirm their identity with appropriate documentation.
15. John Varvatos makes no warranties, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, hereby disclaims any and all warranties, express or implied, in connection with the Prize Draw.
16. John Varvatos accepts no responsibility for deliveries that are delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered for any technical reason, mishandling, incorrect address details, courier delivery failure or for any other reason whatsoever.
17. The Coupon Code is valid only on full priced items and not for use on limited capsules.
18. The Coupon Code can only be redeemed once.
19. The Coupon Code cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, voucher, promotion or staff offers. The Coupon Code may not be used in respect of delivery charges, gift cards, outlet and sale items. This Coupon Code cannot be applied to previous purchases.
20. The Coupon Code may not be sold (including without limitation on any auction site) whether for profit or otherwise, or reproduced on any website. Such activity will render the Coupon Code void.
21. The name of the winner can be obtained after 4 December 2024 at 9am EST by sending a stamped self-addressed envelope to the following address: John Varvatos Customer Care Team, 134 Spring Street, Suite 502, New York, NY 10012. If you are a winner, you consent to us sharing your name with any person who makes an enquiry under this paragraph 16.
22. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-refundable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes. No receipt will be issued for any pieces selected.
23. Each winner consents to John Varvatos, and its affiliated companies, using their entry, voice, image, photograph, and name strictly for purposes related to announcing and publicising the Prize Draw results. Any such usage shall be limited to non-marketing purposes and will be restricted to platforms hosted by John Varvatos and its related companies (e.g., official websites and social media channels). This information will not be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional use. No additional compensation will be offered for such uses.
24. John Varvatos shall use and take care of any personal information you supply to it as described in its Privacy Notice, a copy of which can be seen here or on the website www.johnvarvatos.com and here for residents of California, and in accordance with data protection legislation. By entering the Prize Draw, you agree to the collection, retention, usage and distribution of your personal information for marketing and promotional purposes, in order to process and contact you about your Prize Draw entry, for the purposes outlined in our Privacy Notice and for the purposes outlined in paragraph 23 above. If you do not give your consent to the use of your personal information in the manner set out in these Terms and Conditions and John Varvatos’ Privacy Notice, then please do not enter the Prize Draw.
25. John Varvatos accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Prize Draw or accepting the prize. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude the liability of John Varvatos for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
26. John Varvatos reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Prize Draw with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of John Varvatos in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
27. John Varvatos shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
28. The Prize Draw will be governed by the laws of the State of New York and entrants to the Prize Draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the State of New York courts.
